'Dive' was a short film designed by Darya Naumchenko as an critical study of ecoterrorism. The film centres around Paul, a deep sea oil rig mechanic who battles with his consciousness after his daughter is killed in an ecological protest. The majority of the film was shot at the NFTS main stage within a set build specifically made to replicate a deep sea chamber. I was able to join a small art department team to transform the constructed wood chamber into a functional and realistic space, painting and dressing as well as sourcing props and other items.
