After graduating university, my first industry role was on 'Holby City', where I joined their fast-paced Art Department in the height of COVID-19. Aside from general department duties, I was able to gain hands-on experience in graphics, props, dressing and buying, helping both on set and in the office.

After my initial six weeks, I was asked to stay and assist with dressing the Christmas episodes. I created my own set-and-strike schedule and dressed each set as per the requirements of the episodes, as well as creating differentiation between the different wards in the series depending on the characters active in them. I was also able to be on set for these episodes to assist with dressing and props, and this led me to also be considered to cover absent Standby Props and Standby Art Directors when required.
